Hi, I’m Melody. I’m a professional photographer based in Essex, working with clients across the UK since 2015. Photography has been a constant passion of mine for as long as I can remember, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have turned that passion into a career.
I hold a BA (Hons) degree in Photography and have been awarded an Associate distinction with the Royal Photographic Society, recognising both the quality and consistency of my work. These foundations have helped shape my approach, combining technical skill with a natural, creative style.
My work is all about capturing genuine moments and creating images that feel authentic, timeless and full of character. Whether I’m photographing a wedding, an equestrian event, a beloved pet or a commercial project, I aim to create photographs that people will connect with and treasure for years to come.
Having grown up surrounded by horses and dogs, I understand just how much they become part of the family. That experience has given me a natural connection with animals and allows me to work patiently and confidently, capturing their personality and the special bond they share with their owners.
Although I’m based in Essex I regularly travel across the UK, working with a wide range of clients and covering everything from local shoots to large events. No matter the setting, my approach remains the same—relaxed, professional and focused on capturing the moments that matter most.
I currently share my life with a very cheeky traditional cob called Paddington Bear aka Paddy who competes in driving trials and dressage. He is always ready to pose for the camera and makes a perfect test subject for me and my new ideas!
