Easter Events 2018
I have had a busy few days filled with laughter, photography and importantly chocolate! Easter is one of my favourite times of year as everyone is getting ready for the new season, the weather starts to get a bit warmer and the horses coats start to come through.
These past few days I’ve been busy photographing a mixture of events and have been welcomed onto the team at Beechwood Equestrian Centre this year. Beechwood is a nice local venue to me and they hold a whole range of events and clinics which are all so welcoming.

Monday I was photographing the unaffiliated dressage event at Beechwood EC and it was my first opportunity to photograph a PSG dressage test! I couldn’t wait to get home and look at the photos and absolutely love the photo I have captured of Michelle Watson and GDH Florestan’s Fire half passing their way across the arena.
Tuesday evening I was back at Beechwood to cover their clear round event. The brighter evenings meant that we were able to have the jumps in the outdoor arena! It was such a nice evening and the weather held up for us which made for some great photos. One young rider made me realise why I love my job as a photographer. Jess and her little cob conquered the course after a steady start they were flying round together and a huge smile over the last jump made for a fantastic photo!
